Apollo Healthcare Property Fund welcomes international investor

Maastricht, 30 March 2020 – Apollo Healthcare Property Fund welcomes international investor.

The team of Hartelt is proud to announce that the Apollo Healthcare Property Fund has realized a significant expansion of its capital by welcoming its first international investor.

After carefully building-up the Fund’s portfolio, a search started for institutional investors that support the Funds’ strategy: a core investment with a stable, inflation-indexed return that is enhanced by the positive social impact of the investments. The new equity capital allows the Fund to further grow its investments in both new and existing healthcare properties in the Netherlands.

Victor Gulickx, Fund director Apollo Healthcare Property Fund:

‘We are very pleased welcoming the new investor. An institutional party that recognizes the attractive risk-return profile and the long-term focus of the Fund to realize high-quality, sustainable and affordable care facilities and nursing homes and thus enhancing the well-being of residents, users and environment. Due to our direct relationship with healthcare providers, the pipeline of the Fund is significant, and we are looking forward to realizing more properties with a positive impact. We are confident in attracting more (inter)national investors in the short term.’

Joep Munten, Director Hartelt Fund Management:

‘In the current investment climate that is characterised by high volatility and low or even negative nominal interest rates, we believe that the Apollo Healthcare Property Fund offers investors an increasingly attractive investment opportunity. The Fund invests in sustainable healthcare properties in the Netherlands, providing investors with long-term stable income streams.’

Ambition

The Apollo Healthcare Property Fund aims to expand its investor base further and to grow its
healthcare property portfolio to € 500 million, offering investors a combination of an attractive financial return with a positive social impact.
