PRI 2019: Responsible investment strategy Hartelt Fund Management receives an A score on the United Nations Principle for responsible Investment (PRI) assessment.

The results of the PRI assessment were announced in July. We are pleased to announce that Hartelt Fund Management received an A score on both the Strategy & Governance and the Property module.

In line with the sixth principle for responsible investment Hartelt Fund Management has reported on its activities and progress towards implementing the Principles. Hartelt Fund Management believes that it by investing in sustainable real estate assets it is able to combine a stable financial return with positive social results.

With its investments, Hartelt aims to achieve sufficient supply of high-quality, sustainable and affordable healthcare housing, thereby increasing the well-being of residents, users and the environment. It also contributes with the investments to decentralization by bringing healthcare closer to the people. Hartelt allows institutional investors to invest in healthcare real estate investments.

“We invest for the long term and do so in a responsible manner by incorporating environmental, social and governance (ESG) criteria in all our investment decisions. We thereby create added value for our stakeholders, high quality future-proof real estate investments and a long-term sustainable return”. According to Joep Munten, CFRO Hartelt Fund Management.

PRI

The PRI is the world’s leading proponent of responsible investment. It works to understand the investment implications of environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors and to support its international network of investor signatories in incorporating these factors into their investment and ownership decisions. The PRI acts in the long-term interests of its signatories, of the financial markets and economies in which they operate and ultimately of the environment and society as a whole. The PRI is truly independent.
