Apollo Healthcare Property Fund acquires Care and treatment centre “Jannink” in Enschede

The Apollo Healthcare Property Fund acquired the fully renovated Care and Treatment centre “Jannink” in Enschede from Haerzathe Investments. The centre has a surface of approximately 2,100m² and is fully rented by a general practitioner practice, pharmacy, physiotherapy practice and various other primary care providers. Jones Lang LaSalle assisted the Fund in the acquisition.

The monumental complex “Jannink” in Enschede was built in 1900 and was used as a cotton spinning mill. In 1982 the building was converted into an apartment complex with a textile museum on the ground floor. In 2018, the ground floor was fully renovated into a modern health centre. Healthcare providers are working close together in the centre to offer a wide range of healthcare and wellbeing services to the residents of this part of Enschede. The joint care providers also offer comprehensive care programs related to diabetes, chronic lung disease and elderly care.

Michel van Oostvoorn, Director Investments of Hartelt Fund Management: “We are very pleased with the acquisition of this future-proof, multidisciplinary Care and treatment centre.. The utilization as high-quality housing for healthcare providers constitutes a new phase for this beautiful, characterful building in the history of Enschede.”
